Ivory Coast. A male choir bangs bottles and accompanies itself on a Dyulu forked harp for a song of entertainment.

Philippines. Tinäptapan rhythm played on a large bulbous gong called an agung, a sound of natural surroundings.

Papua New Guinea. A boy holds a beetle in front of his half-open mouth: the game of "put mwag".

Albania. Pastoral melody played on Zumare oboe.

Tibet. Tribute to an important person in a Tibetan monastery in northern India at a night ceremony, alternating long bronze horns with gyaling oboes.

Colombia. Large bark trumpets, always played in pairs, are sacred musical instruments. The largest measures about two meters, the smallest, 70 centimeters. They are often played without the aid of other instruments.

Spain. A man sings accompanied by a single-membrane friction drum called a Zamzomba.

Lesotho. Musical bow solo recorded outdoors with children's sounds in Raisa village, near Fika La Tsuene mountain in Mohale's Hoek district.

India. Narh flute with 4 holes played obliquely, with a vocal drone. The old shepherd Gazi Khan uses a long narh (1 m) and a short one (50 cm) alternately.

Indonesia. Women's choir accompanied by a percussion ensemble and other instruments: wuwuho, six-hole flute in diatonic D, ore-ore nggae or gongallima (bamboo fork - ngae means hand - there are two types of ore-ore: either hand-held (nggae) or mouth-held (mbondu)), dimba-dimba (semi-tubular zither struck with a stick, 1.6m long), 2 pairs of tuundu (bamboos struck alternately on the ground) and a ngganda (already rare percussion instrument, oblong, with a string on either side and a small bridge: the two sticks strike the string).

Indonesia. The player Pa' Saging is about 70 years old. His keledi mouth organ has six bamboo tubes, one hole per tube. He plays with continuous breath; the sound is the same when inhaling and exhaling.

Vietnam. Man's voice accompanied by the tubular zither gong with 11-string on a calabash.

Yemen. Double clarinet Mizmâr plays a melody composed by Ali Al-Anisi.
